Annual increment of 3% subject to performance.

Written Test duration: 2.5 hours, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Part I: General Awareness – 20 questions
• Part II: English & Reasoning – 40 questions
• Part III: Discipline/Trade – 100 questions

No negative marking.

The selection process for HAL Aircraft Technician Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in multiple stages to ensure transparency and merit-based recruitment. Candidates must successfully clear each stage to be considered for final appointment.

1. Written Test:
   • Duration: 2.5 hours
   • Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
   • Sections: General Awareness (20 questions), English & Reasoning (40 questions), Discipline/Trade (100 questions)
   • Marking: 1 mark per question, no negative marking
2. Shortlisting:

   Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test. Merit order will be prepared as per company rules.

3. Document Verification:

   Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates and self-attested copies of educational qualifications, service records, caste/category certificates, and identity proofs. Failure to provide valid documents will result in disqualification.

4. Medical Examination:

   Provisionally selected candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical examination at HAL Hospital. Medical fitness as per HAL standards is mandatory for final selection.

5. Final Selection:

   Final appointment will be subject to verification of caste, character, antecedents, and police clearance. HAL reserves the right to reject candidature at any stage if eligibility criteria are not met.

Note: Candidates must bear their own expenses for attending the written test. TA/DA reimbursement will be provided only for document verification stage as per HAL rules.

Posting at Helicopter MRO bases: Porbandar, Ratnagiri, Vizag, Missamari, and Mumbai. Transferable across HAL divisions.
