1. Visit the official Indian Navy recruitment portal: joinindiannavy.gov.in.
2. Register yourself by creating a new account with valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Log in and fill in accurate personal, educational, and contact details as per your certificates.
4. Upload required documents including mark sheets, domicile certificate, NCC certificate (if applicable), and a recent passport-size photograph.
5. Pay the application fee of ₹550 + 18% GST securely online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
6. Review all details carefully before final submission to avoid rejection.
7. Submit the application form and download the confirmation slip for future reference.
8. Keep a printed copy of the application and payment receipt for verification during recruitment stages.

Note: Candidates can also apply through Common Service Centers (CSC) across India with a service fee of ₹60 + GST. Ensure timely submission before the deadline (6 April 2026, 17:00 hrs).

• 10th/12th Marksheet and Certificate: Proof of educational qualification with minimum required marks.
• Domicile Certificate: Issued by the competent authority to confirm state-wise eligibility.
• NCC Certificate (if applicable): Candidates holding NCC ‘C’ certificate may get exemption from Stage I INET exam.
• Passport-size Photograph: Recent color photo (10 KB–50 KB) with candidate holding a slate showing name & date in white chalk.
• Police Verification Form: Verified by Superintendent of Police from domicile/residence jurisdiction; mandatory for enrolment.
• Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or any government-issued valid ID for verification.
• Other Certificates: Any sponsorship certificates (if applicable) and supporting documents uploaded during application.

Note: All documents must be uploaded online during application and produced in original at every stage of recruitment, including INS Chilka. Any mismatch between uploaded and original documents will result in cancellation of candidature.

Note: Candidates must qualify in all stages (INET, PFT, Written Exam, Medical) to be considered for the merit list. Exam centres are allocated at the discretion of the Indian Navy.

1. Stage I – INET Exam: Computer-based test with 100 objective-type questions covering English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness. Duration: 1 hour. Negative marking applies.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on marks obtained in INET. Cut-off marks vary state-wise as per service requirements.
3. Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Exam & Medical:
   • PFT includes 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups (different standards for male & female).
   • Written Exam: 100 questions, bilingual, covering core subjects.
   • Medical Examination: Conducted at designated military hospitals; candidates must meet prescribed physical and visual standards.
4. Provisional Merit List: Prepared state-wise based on performance in Stage I & II. Only medically fit candidates are considered.
5. Final Induction: Selected candidates will undergo training and induction at INS Chilka, Odisha. Successful completion leads to enrolment as Agniveer SSR.

Note: The selection process is highly competitive. Candidates must qualify in each stage to progress further. Any discrepancy in documents or failure to meet medical standards will result in disqualification.

Training and induction will be conducted at INS Chilka, Odisha, the premier training establishment of the Indian Navy. After successful completion of training, Agniveers will be posted across various Indian Navy establishments, both ashore and afloat, depending on operational requirements.

• Service Tenure: Across Indian Navy bases, ships, and establishments nationwide
• Deployment: Candidates may serve on warships, submarines, naval air squadrons, and shore establishments
• Rotation: Posting locations will vary based on service needs and performance
