CSIR – National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad has issued
Advertisement No. 06/2025 dated 06.12.2025 inviting online applications from
Indian Nationals for 12 Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts in Level-1. The institute
is a premier R&D laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR),
Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Eligible 10th pass candidates can apply
online from 06 December 2025 (10:00 AM) to 05 January 2026 (06:00 PM).

Stage 1: Screening & Trade Test
Applications are screened by a committee. Shortlisted candidates are called for Trade Test to assess practical skills based on job requirements.
Stage 2: Competitive Written Examination
Candidates who qualify the Trade Test appear for the OMR-based Competitive Written Examination (single paper, 150 questions, 450 marks).
Stage 3: Final Merit List
Final selection is based solely on marks obtained in the Competitive Written Examination. Tie-breaking is done using negative marks, age, date of acquiring qualification and alphabetical order of names.
