• Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate or Birth Certificate (for Date of Birth proof).
• Graduation Marksheet of all semesters and Final / Provisional Degree Certificate in Mining Engineering.
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) in prescribed format issued after 01 April 2026.
• EWS Income & Asset Certificate valid for FY 2025-26 issued by competent authority.
• Recent passport-size colour photograph (not older than 3 weeks) and scanned signature in black ink.
• Experience Certificate (if applicable) for candidates with prior PSU/Govt. service.
• Ex-Servicemen Discharge / Service Certificate (if applicable).
• Certificate for J&K domicile (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer for Govt./PSU employees.

1. Visit the Coal India Online Portal.
2. Click on “Apply Online” and register using a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
3. Fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and category information carefully.
4. Upload scanned copies of required documents (photo, signature, certificates) in PDF/JPEG format.
5. Pay the application fee online (₹1180 for UR/OBC/EWS; exempted for SC/ST/CIL employees).
6. Review the application form thoroughly before submission to avoid errors.
7. Submit the application and download the confirmation slip for future reference.

• Selection is based solely on GATE-2025 scores.
• Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise in a 1:3 ratio based on merit.
• Final merit list prepared discipline-wise using GATE-2025 marks only.
• Tie-breaker rules: higher percentage in qualifying degree, then seniority in age.
• Shortlisted candidates must undergo Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME).
• Offer of Appointment issued only after successful completion of DV & IME.
