Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL), Dehradun under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released the Apprentice Recruitment Notification 2026. DEAL invites online applications from meritorious Indian nationals for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprentice Rules 1992. This recruitment offers opportunities for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI apprentices across multiple disciplines.
The apprenticeship program provides practical training, skill development, and exposure to defence R&D projects. A total of 77 vacancies are available, with stipends as per Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship guidelines. Eligible candidates must apply online within 30 days from the advertisement date (23 June 2026). Selection will be based on academic merit, written test, or interview, subject to document verification.

NATS/NAPS Profile: Signed copy of the candidate’s profile generated from the respective portal.
Educational Certificates: Original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates from 10th standard onwards, including qualifying degree/diploma/ITI certificates.
Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, valid photo ID proof, and address proof for verification.
Category Certificates: SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, or PwBD certificates issued by competent authority (if applicable).
Photographs: Two recent passport-size color photographs for documentation and verification.

Graduate/Diploma Candidates: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in) and apply using DEAL ID: NUKDDC000015.
ITI Candidates: Register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and apply using Establishment Code: E01160500005.
Application Form: Fill all mandatory fields accurately, ensuring correct personal and academic details.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required certificates, ID proof, and photographs in the prescribed format.
Submission: Submit the completed online application before 23 July 2026. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
Shortlisting: Based on academic merit, written test, interview, or walk-in interview depending on the number of applicants and vacancies.
Document Verification: Candidates must produce original certificates and documents for verification. Any discrepancy will lead to disqualification.
Final Selection: DEAL reserves the right to adopt its own shortlisting criteria. Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection.
