Government of India Cabinet Secretariat Hiring 2026 – 25 Senior Field Officer Posts | Apply by 12 July 2026

• Educational Certificates: Self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of Matriculation, 10+2, and Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc.).
• Proof of Age: Matriculation certificate, Birth certificate, Passport, PAN card, or Driving License clearly showing date of birth.
• Valid GATE Score Card: Original or self-attested copy of the GATE score card for the relevant subject, with score ≥ 500.
• Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable): SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS certificate in the prescribed Central Government format issued by competent authority.
• NOC from Employer (if applicable): For candidates already employed in Government service, a No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
• Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable): Discharge certificate or summary issued by competent authority as per Government norms.
• PwBD Certificate (if applicable): Benchmark disability certificate (minimum 40%) issued by authorized medical board.
• Photographs: Two recent passport-size coloured photographs with candidate’s name and date of birth written on the back.
• Signature Scan: Clear scanned copy of candidate’s signature in prescribed format.

1. Prepare Application: Type the application form on A4 size paper in English capital (block) letters using black or blue ink only.
2. Complete All Fields: Fill in every column carefully — incomplete or unsigned applications will be rejected.
3. Attach Photograph: Affix a recent passport-size coloured photograph in the designated space.
4. Attach Documents: Enclose self-attested copies of all required certificates (educational, age proof, GATE score card, caste certificate, NOC, etc.).
5. Envelope Preparation: Place the completed application and documents in an envelope clearly superscribed with “Application for the post of Senior Field Officer (Technical).”
6. Submission: Send the envelope via Ordinary Post to: Post Bag No. 001, Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi – 110003.
7. Deadline: Ensure the application reaches on or before 12 July 2026. Late applications will not be entertained.

• Merit List: All valid applications are arranged in order of merit based on GATE score, separately for each subject.
• Shortlisting: Candidates equal to five times the number of vacancies in each subject are shortlisted and called for interview.
• Final Selection: Based on GATE Score (maximum 100 marks) and Interview (maximum 20 marks), combined.
• Weightage: GATE score carries the highest weight, making strong GATE performance the key advantage.
• Verification: Final selection is subject to character & antecedent verification and medical examination as per Government norms.
• Interview Notification: Exact date, time, and centre of interview will be communicated via email to shortlisted candidates.
