On appointment as Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’), candidates will receive a competitive Cost to Company (CTC) package ranging between ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh per annum for postings in Class A cities. The package includes basic pay, allowances, and benefits under the IDBI Bank Ltd. New Pension Scheme (IBLNPS).

Annual increments are performance‑based, ensuring steady career growth. In addition, employees are entitled to medical facilities, leave benefits, and other perks as per prevailing bank policies. After completing three years of service, Grade ‘O’ officers become eligible for promotion to Grade ‘A’, subject to performance and vacancy norms.

The Online Test (OT) includes negative marking. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks (one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question) will be deducted as a penalty. If a question is left unanswered, no marks will be deducted. Candidates are advised to attempt questions carefully to avoid losing marks due to guessing.

The recruitment process for Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) – Grade ‘O’ involves multiple stages to ensure fair and merit‑based selection. Candidates must first appear for the Online Test (OT), which assesses reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and general/economy/banking awareness. Successful candidates are then called for Document Verification (DV) to validate eligibility, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) conducted in English or Hindi. The interview carries 100 marks, with a minimum qualifying score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).

The final merit score is calculated using the formula: 75% of OT score + 25% of PI score. Shortlisted candidates must also undergo a Pre‑Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT) to confirm fitness as per IDBI Bank standards. Zone‑wise merit lists will be prepared, and final appointments will be offered based on performance, category, and availability of vacancies.

Posting will be zone-wise across India. Candidates will be endeavoured to remain in their chosen zone for the first 10 years, subject to bank requirements.
