IIT Delhi Non-Academic Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online till 8 April

Total Vacancies: 05 (All posts are Unreserved).

1. Visit the official application portal: Apply Online.
2. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number to create your applicant profile.
3. Fill in personal details, academic qualifications (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation), and complete employment history in reverse chronological order.
4. Upload all required documents in a single merged PDF file, including:
   • Academic certificates and consolidated mark sheets
   • Experience certificates with pay level details
   • Salary slips/office orders for each designation
   • Caste/Category certificate (if applicable)
   • ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID)
5. Pay the application fee online: ₹1500 for UR/EWS/OBC and ₹750 for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen (processing fee only).
6. Carefully review all details before submission. Once submitted, applications cannot be altered or resubmitted.
7. Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference. Keep proof of fee payment safely.
8. Candidates working in Govt./PSUs must forward the printed application through proper channel within 20 days of the last date.

Note: Salaries are based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. In addition to basic pay, employees are entitled to allowances such as DA, HRA, medical benefits, pension, and other perks as per IIT Delhi rules.

• Academic Certificates: Consolidated mark sheets and degree certificates for 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, and Post-Graduation.
• Experience Certificates: Certificates from all previous employers, clearly mentioning duration, designation, and pay level details.
• Salary Proof: Initial and last salary slips or office orders/notifications indicating pay scale at the time of joining/promotion and relieving.
• Caste/Category Certificate: Valid certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates, issued by competent authority as per Govt. of India norms.
• ID Proof: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID for identity verification.
• Equivalency Certificate: Required if the applicant claims equivalency of degree or pay scale (IDA/CDA to 7th CPC).
• CGPA Conversion Certificate: If applicable, conversion formula approved by the academic institution must be uploaded.
• Other Supporting Documents: Any additional certificates relevant to eligibility, training, or specialization.

Note: All documents must be self‑attested, merged into a single PDF file, and uploaded during the online application process. Incomplete or missing documents will lead to rejection of the application.

Note: The selection process is multi‑tiered. Candidates must qualify each stage to progress to the next. Final merit will be prepared based on performance in Tier‑II and Tier‑III, subject to document verification.

1. Screening: Initial eligibility check based on qualifications, age, and experience.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1 vacancy : 8 applicants.
3. Tier-II Presentation: Shortlisted candidates present on a professional/technical topic to assess subject knowledge, communication, and analytical skills.
4. Tier-III Interview: Personal interview to evaluate expertise, suitability, and overall merit for the post.
5. Document Verification: Verification of uploaded certificates, salary slips, and category documents.
6. Final Selection: Merit list prepared based on Tier-II and Tier-III performance, subject to verification.

Note: Each stage is mandatory. Candidates failing at any stage will not proceed further.

Primary Location: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi – 110016.

Additional Campuses: Selected candidates may be posted at any IIT Delhi campus or extension centers as per institutional requirements.

Work Environment: Full-time, government service under IIT Delhi with access to academic, medical, and research facilities.
