Selection Procedure – Indian Army CSBO Grade-II Recruitment 2026
- Written Examination:
Candidates will first appear for a Written Test carrying 100 marks. The test will consist of four parts – General Intelligence & Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness, General English, and Logic & Reasoning (25 marks each). The paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi), except for the English section.
- Practical Test:
Shortlisted candidates from the Written Test will undergo a Practical Test to assess proficiency in handling PBX/EPABX systems. This stage is qualifying in nature and ensures candidates possess the required technical skills.
- Interview:
Qualified candidates will then face a personal Interview. This stage evaluates communication skills, confidence, and suitability for the role. The Interview is also qualifying in nature.
- Medical Examination:
Final selection will be subject to candidates passing a Medical Fitness Test as per Government of India standards. Only medically fit candidates will be considered for appointment.
- Merit-Based Selection:
The overall merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Written Test, provided candidates qualify in both the Practical Test and Interview. No extra weightage will be given for higher qualifications.
