Note: Reservation follows Government of India guidelines. PwBD categories include locomotor disability, hard of hearing, and multiple disabilities.

• Photograph: Recent passport-size photo (JPEG/JPG, 50–200 KB).
• Signature: Scanned signature (JPEG/JPG, 10–50 KB).
• Age Proof: Birth certificate / SSLC / Matriculation certificate.
• Educational Certificates: Degree certificates with consolidated mark sheets (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD if applicable).
• Caste/EWS/PwBD Certificate: Valid certificate in prescribed format, if applicable.
• NOC/CCA Declaration: For Government employees, signed declaration and acknowledgement.
• Experience Proof: Certificates, salary slips, promotion orders, APAR copies, etc.
• GATE Scorecard: If applicable.
• Statement of Purpose (SOP): Mandatory upload in PDF format.
• Additional Proofs: Form 16A, ITR returns, published papers, CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate (if applicable).
• Scribe Declaration: For candidates using a scribe.
• Application Reference: Roll number/application number from previous NIC recruitment (if applicable).

1. Step 1 – Registration: Create an account on recruitment.nic.in with valid email and mobile number.
2. Step 2 – Fill Application Form: Enter personal, academic, and professional details; upload required documents.
3. Step 3 – Fee Payment: Pay ₹800 online (if applicable). SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt.
4. Step 4 – Confirmation Page: Download and save the confirmation page after successful submission.

Important: Aadhaar-based authentication will be used at every stage. Only one application per post is allowed.

• Stage 1 – Screening Test: Online MCQ-based qualifying exam.
• Stage 2 – Academic Evaluation: Assessment of academic records, qualifications, and relevant experience.
• Stage 3 – Personal Interview: Interaction to evaluate technical knowledge, leadership, and suitability.
• Final Merit List: Prepared based on cumulative marks (120 marks for evaluation + 30 marks for interview = 150 marks).

Note: Only candidates meeting minimum qualifying marks in the screening test will proceed to the next stages.

Note: Normalization will be applied if the exam is conducted in multiple sessions.

Selected candidates will be posted across India and may also be deputed abroad depending on project requirements of the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
