2. Login using your GATE 2025 registration number.
3. Fill in the application form with accurate details.
4. Upload required documents.
5. Pay the application fee (if applicable).
6. Submit and download the confirmation page.

Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 (E1 Grade) along with applicable allowances and benefits.

• Valid GATE 2025 Scorecard: Mandatory proof of qualifying exam performance in the relevant discipline.
• Educational Certificates: Original and photocopies of B.E./B.Tech degree certificates and mark sheets.
• Category Certificate (if applicable): SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD certificates issued by competent authorities as per Government of India norms.
• Photo Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, Passport, Voter ID, or any valid government‑issued ID.
• Recent Passport‑Size Photographs: As per NTPC’s specifications for recruitment documentation.
• Age Proof: Birth certificate, 10th class certificate, or equivalent document verifying date of birth.
• Experience Certificates (if any): For candidates with prior work experience in engineering or PSU roles.
• Medical Fitness Certificate: Required at the final stage to confirm eligibility under NTPC’s health standards.

Selection will be based on GATE 2025 scores followed by document verification and medical examination.

1. Shortlisting via GATE 2025: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE 2025 scores in the relevant engineering disciplines.
2. Publication of Merit List: NTPC will prepare an initial merit list considering GATE performance.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present academic certificates, category certificates, and identity proofs for verification.
4. Medical Fitness Test: Applicants must undergo a comprehensive medical examination as per NTPC standards to ensure fitness for duty.
5. Final Merit List: The final selection list will be prepared after successful document verification and medical clearance.
6. Offer of Appointment: Selected candidates will receive appointment letters to join NTPC as Engineering Executive Trainees across its projects nationwide.

Selected candidates will be posted at NTPC units/projects across India.
