Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Officer Trainee

To be eligible for the NRL GET and Assistant Officer Trainee posts, candidates must hold a first-class degree (minimum 65%) in relevant engineering disciplines from AICTE/UGC-approved institutes. For Assistant Officer Trainee roles, a first-class postgraduate qualification with valid NET or GATE scores is required.

Applicants must be no older than 30 years as of 10 October 2025, with age relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per government norms. Final-year students awaiting results are not eligible. Candidates must also meet medical fitness standards prescribed by NRL.
