The recruitment process will be conducted in three distinct stages. Each stage is mandatory, and candidates must qualify at every step to progress further:

1. Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
   • Paper I: Objective-type test covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, Punjabi, and Digital Literacy.
   • Paper II: Mandatory qualifying test of Punjabi language (Matriculation standard).
   Note: Paper II is qualifying only and marks will not be counted towards merit.
2. Stage II: Physical Screening Test (PST) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
   • PST includes running, long jump, and high jump (with different standards for male, female, and ex-servicemen candidates).
   • PMT verifies minimum height requirements (Male: 5’7” / 170.2 cm; Female: 5’2” / 157.5 cm; Transgender candidates treated at par with female standards).
   Both PST and PMT are qualifying in nature.
3. Stage III: Document Scrutiny
   • Verification of original certificates including Matriculation, 12th qualification, Punjabi language proof, category certificate, domicile certificate (for women under General category), and NOC (for government employees).
   • Only candidates who successfully clear Stage I and Stage II will be called for this stage.

Final Merit: Prepared strictly on the basis of marks obtained in Paper I (after normalization), subject to qualifying Paper II, PST, PMT, and document verification.

Final Verification: Candidates must present all original certificates and documents during document scrutiny. Mandatory documents include: Matriculation certificate, 12th certificate, Punjabi language certificate, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate (for women under General category), and No Objection Certificate (for government employees).

2. Complete registration and create your candidate account.
3. Fill in the application form with personal, educational, and physical details.
4. Select your cadre preference (District or Armed) and indicate 15 district preferences.
5. Upload a recent passport-size photograph (color, white background, 80–200 KB, JPEG) and signature (80–200 KB, JPEG).
6. Upload a valid ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or PAN Card).
7. Pay the application fee securely via the online payment gateway.
8. Submit the application form and download/print a copy for future reference.
