Selection Procedure – SBI PO Recruitment 2026

The selection process for SBI Probationary Officers will be conducted in three phases to ensure merit-based recruitment:

• Phase I – Preliminary Examination: Online objective test of 100 marks covering English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Duration: 60 minutes.
• Phase II – Main Examination: Online objective test (200 marks) and descriptive test (30 marks). Subjects include Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language (Letter & Essay writing).
• Phase III – Psychometric Test, Group Exercises & Interview: Assessment of leadership, communication, and analytical skills through group tasks and personal interview.

Final selection will be based on performance in Phase II and Phase III, subject to document verification and medical fitness.
