1. Access the official notification PDF and print the attached application form — no online portal is available.
2. Complete the form neatly in BLOCK LETTERS, ensuring there are no abbreviations, overwriting, or corrections.
3. Review the eligibility rules and declaration carefully before signing, as incomplete or false information will lead to rejection.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents, including NAC/NCVT certificates, ITI mark sheets, age proof, caste/EWS certificates, and ex-serviceman proof if applicable.
5. OBC candidates must enclose the signed undertaking in the prescribed format (Appendix-I).
6. Include two additional passport-size photographs, self-attested on the reverse side, along with the application.
7. Clearly superscribe the envelope with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TENURE BASED DBW PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS”.
8. Dispatch the application via Speed Post/Registered Post or deliver it by hand to the Central Registry of Ordnance Factory Chanda.

The recruitment process at Ordnance Factory Chanda is entirely merit-based and does not involve a separate written examination. Instead, candidates are shortlisted using their NCTVT (NAC) marks combined with performance in a Trade Test or Practical Test.

The evaluation follows a three-stage process:
Stage 1: Assessment of NCTVT (NAC) marks, carrying 80% weightage.
Stage 2: Trade Test / Practical Test, contributing 20% weightage.
Stage 3: Document Verification for candidates who qualify in order of merit.

The final merit list is prepared using the combined scores (80% NAC + 20% Trade Test). The cut-off percentage for calling candidates to the Trade Test will be determined by Ordnance Factory Chanda based on overall NAC marks. Shortlisted candidates will be informed only through post and email, while phone or messenger queries will not be entertained.

In case of a tie, preference will be given first to Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factory Chanda, followed by apprentices from other Ordnance Factories, then candidates with higher NAC marks, and finally older candidates by date of birth.
