Selection Procedure - BBMB Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Merit-Based Selection: No written exam or interview will be conducted. Selection is purely based on academic marks.
Weightage Criteria:
- Graduate Apprentices → 20% (10th), 20% (12th/Diploma), 60% (Graduation/PG aggregate).
- Diploma Apprentices → 30% (10th), 70% (Diploma aggregate).
- ITI Apprentices → 30% (10th), 70% (ITI aggregate).
Domicile Preference: 25% seats reserved for candidates with residency certificates of project districts (Ropar, Bilaspur, Una). Remaining seats filled by state domicile, then open merit.
Tie-Breaking Rules:
- Older candidates will be given preference if marks are equal.
- If age is also the same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier will be prioritized.
